On August 1, 2025, Hotel V will officially open the doors of its newest location in trendy Amsterdam East. Located on the green Oosterpark, the hotel offers 88 spacious, stylishly decorated rooms, a serene atmosphere inspired by nature – and a unique view of Amsterdam-Oost. Bookings through the website are now open for stays starting September 1, 2025.

Breathtaking views of Amsterdam East

The breathtaking view from the hotel is undoubtedly one of the highlights of a stay. Some rooms border directly on the green Oosterpark, making guests feel almost like they are in the middle of the trees. Others offer unique views of the park, the iconic World Museum or the lively Dapper neighborhood. Floor-high windows blur the boundary between inside and outside; the surrounding greenery is literally brought inside. This connection to nature is subtly carried through into the interior, with warm wood tones, organic forms and materials reminiscent of moss and grass – reflecting the serene atmosphere of the park.

“From your room you can see Amsterdam in all its glory: the Wereldmuseum, the Oosterpark, or the Dapperbuurt – not a painting on the wall, but the city itself. Hotel V Oosterpark – by Conscious is not a place to sit still, but to keep your eyes open and follow your heart. says Marco Lemmers, CEO of Hotel V. “We invite you to enjoy, wander and feel at home in the middle of the city, with a view you won’t soon forget.”

The location is ideal for those who want to explore lively Amsterdam, but don’t want to stay in the hustle and bustle of the city. From a morning run in Oosterpark to strolling around the Dappermarkt or soaking up culture at the Wereldmuseum, Artis or Brouwerij ‘t IJ: everything is within walking distance. With streetcar 14 and 19, night buses and Muiderpoort station a short distance away, the rest of the city is easily accessible.

Durable and well-thought-out

Hotel V Oosterpark – by Conscious is one of the most sustainable hotels in the city and the most sustainable location within the Hotel V family that has been at the forefront of sustainable hospitality in Amsterdam for many years. The hotel is completely gas-free, uses WKO (heat and cold storage) and features triple glazing. The interior is carefully composed with Cradle-to-Cradle products and FSC-certified wood. Thus, both the interior and daily operations are designed with attention to people and the environment.

The hotel has 88 spacious rooms, most of which are larger than 30 m². There are 18 rooms with connecting facilities, including 7 with kitchen (pantry), ideal for families and/or longer stays. A new restaurant and cocktail bar will soon open on the first floor. Accessible to hotel guests and local residents. Here you can go all day for breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktails, events and more. The exact opening date and the name of the owner will be announced soon.

Design of size

The hotel is housed in an extraordinary 1967 building, previously named one of the 100 most important postwar buildings in the Netherlands. In collaboration with renowned architect Wiel Arets, the existing hotel has been transformed into a modern retreat with a minimalist look and expansive windows. Combining historic character, contemporary comfort and sustainable signature, Hotel V thus enriches Amsterdam’s hospitality offerings.

Getting Here

In which part of the city are your hotels located?

Depends which V you’re crashing at.

Fizeaustraat : Tucked away in East Amsterdam (Amsteldorp, if you want to sound local). Leafy streets, hidden gems, zero tourist traps.

Nesplein: In the heart of the city, right in the old theatre district. Steps from Dam Square, wrapped in canals. The real stage is outside your window.

Frederiksplein: Central but lowkey. Next to the canals, near the Albert Cuyp market, walking distance to Museumplein. Classic Amsterdam, minus the clichés.

Oosterpark: Right in the middle of the park. Wake up to birdsong. Green outside, laid-back buzz inside. East Amsterdam at its most alive.

What is the address of each Hotel V location?

No mysteries here, just three spots to drop your bags

Fizeaustraat: Fizeaustraat 2, right behind Amstel Station. Easy come, easy go.
Nesplein: Nes 49, just a heartbeat from Dam Square and Rokin.
Frederiksplein: Weteringschans 136, 1017 XV Amsterdam. Or V-Lofts are located in another building just around the corner!
Oosterpark: Linnaeusstraat 2C, 1092 CK Amsterdam. Inside the park

Easy to find, impossible to forget.

In Your Room

Do all rooms come with shampoo, conditioner, a hairdryer, etc.?

We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion of our own brand ETIKA. There is also a hairdryer in your room, so you can leave some room in your bags for souvenirs!

Are all rooms at Hotel V air-conditioned?

We keep things cool in different ways.

At Fizeaustraat the building has climate control and you can set the temperature in your room. Fans and heaters are available on request.

At Nesplein there’s central climate control to keep the vibe steady. Every room comes with a fan and we can bring a heater if you need one.

At Frederiksplein only the Loft has air-conditioning. During the warmer months our housekeeping team takes extra steps to keep rooms comfortable. Fans are placed in the rooms and blinds are lowered to block out the heat and keep things cool.

At Oosterpark, Each room has a fancoil unit that lets you lower or raise the temperature. No full AC, but enough to keep things comfy year-round.
